中國單方面開(kāi)放免簽的國家(jiā)有(yǒu)12個(gè):瑞士、愛(ài)爾蘭、匈牙利、奧地利、比利時(shí)、盧森(sēn)堡、文萊、法國、意大(dà)利、德國、荷蘭、西班牙。

與中國簽署了簽證互免協議的國家(jiā)共23個(gè)阿聯酋、阿爾巴尼亞、巴哈馬、巴巴多(duō)斯、白俄羅斯、波黑(hēi)、多(duō)米尼克、厄瓜多(duō)爾、斐濟、格林納達、哈薩克斯坦、卡塔爾、馬爾代夫、毛裏求斯、馬來(lái)西亞、塞爾維亞、塞舌爾、聖馬力諾、蘇裏南、湯加、泰國、新加坡、亞美尼亞。


1、外國人(rén)适用免簽政策來(lái)華是否需要通(tōng)過中國駐外使領館提前申報?

答(dá):符合條件的外國人(rén)适用免簽政策來(lái)華無需事先向中國駐外使領館申報。
2、中國邊防檢查機關是否及如何核查來(lái)華事由? 入境時(shí)除護照外是否需攜帶其他材料?

答(dá):來(lái)華事由符合免簽政策規定的經商、旅遊觀光、探親訪友(yǒu)或過境的外國人(rén),經中國邊防檢查機關依法查驗準許後入境;對來(lái)華事由與免簽政策規定事由不符或具有(yǒu)其他法定不準入境情形的外國人(rén),邊防檢查機關将依法作(zuò)出不準入境決定。建議攜帶邀請(qǐng)函、機票(piào)酒店(diàn)訂單等與來(lái)華事由相符合的證明(míng)材料。來(lái)華工作(zuò)、學習、采訪報道(dào)等人(rén)員不屬于免簽範圍。
3、未成年人(rén)适用免簽政策來(lái)華是否有(yǒu)特殊要求?

答(dá):未成年人(rén)與成年人(rén)适用免簽政策來(lái)華條件相同。
4、對入境證件種類及有(yǒu)效期是否有(yǒu)要求?

答(dá):外國人(rén)需持有(yǒu)效普通(tōng)護照來(lái)華,有(yǒu)效期須滿足在華旅行(xíng)需要。持旅行(xíng)證、臨時(shí)或緊急證件等普通(tōng)護照以外證件的外國人(rén)不适用免簽政策來(lái)華。
5、15日停留期限如何計(jì)算(suàn)?

答(dá):符合免簽來(lái)華條件的外國人(rén)自入境之日起可(kě)連續停留至第15個(gè)自然日24時(shí)。
6、是否可(kě)從非國籍國出發?

答(dá):符合免簽來(lái)華條件的外國人(rén)可(kě)從中國境外任何國家(jiā)(地區(qū))出發。
7、是否适用于除航空(kōng)以外的其他入境方式?

答(dá):單方面免簽适用于所有(yǒu)對外國人(rén)開(kāi)放的海陸空(kōng)口岸(法律法規或雙邊安排另有(yǒu)規定的除外)。如乘自備交通(tōng)工具來(lái)華,還(hái)應按照中國有(yǒu)關法律、法規辦理(lǐ)自備交通(tōng)工具進出境等手續。
8、旅遊團組能否适用免簽入境?

答(dá):符合免簽來(lái)華條件的外國人(rén),無論是參加旅遊團組,還(hái)是個(gè)人(rén)旅遊,都可(kě)适用免簽政策入境。
9、如在華停留期限超過15日,是否可(kě)辦理(lǐ)延期?

答(dá):外國人(rén)如拟在華停居留超過15日,應事先在中國駐外使領館辦理(lǐ)與來(lái)華事由相符的簽證。如适用免簽政策入境後因合理(lǐ)正當事由需繼續在華停留的,應向公安機關出入境管理(lǐ)機構申請(qǐng)辦理(lǐ)停居留證件。
10、是否可(kě)多(duō)次入境,對入境時(shí)間(jiān)間(jiān)隔是否有(yǒu)要求,是否有(yǒu)免簽次數(shù)、總停留天數(shù)限制(zhì)?

答(dá):外國人(rén)如符合免簽來(lái)華條件,可(kě)多(duō)次适用免簽政策來(lái)華,目前對免簽次數(shù)、總停留天數(shù)暫無限制(zhì),但(dàn)應注意不得(de)從事與入境事由不符的活動。

China has unilaterally allowed visa-free access to 12 countries: Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Brunei, France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain.

A total of 23 countries have signed visa waiver agreements with China: United Arab Emirates, Albania, Bahamas, Barbados, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dominica, Ecuador, Fiji, Grenada, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Maldives, Mauritius, Malaysia, Serbia, Seychelles, SAN Marino, Suriname, Tonga, Thailand, Singapore, Armenia.

 

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions on Visa-free Policy to Citizens of Switzerland and Other Countries

Question 1: Do foreign citizens eligible for visa-free entry to China need to notice the Chinese Embassies or Consulates in advance?

Answer: Foreign citizens eligible for the visa-free entry to China do not need to pre-notice the Chinese Embassies or Consulates.

Question 2: Do Chinese immigration inspection authorities check the purpose of visit before allowing foreign citizens to enter China? Are there additional documents other than passport required upon entry to China?

Answer: Foreign citizens entering China for business, tourism, family visit or transit purposes, who are eligible for visa-free entry, will be allowed to enter China after being checked by the Chinese immigration inspection authorities. Individuals whose purposes of visit do not align with the visa-free entry policy or in categories of entry denial, the Chinese immigration inspection authorities will make entry denial decision according to relevant laws and regulations. It is encouraged to take necessary supportive documents with you on entering China, such as the invitation letter, flight tickets and hotel reservation letter etc., which will help to verify your purpose of visit. Individuals coming to China for work, study, or journalism purposes do not apply to visa-free entry policy.

Question 3: Are there special requirements for minors who are eligible for the visa-free entry?

Answer: No special requirements, same as adults.

Question 4: Are there certain requirements for the type and validity period for border-entry certificates?

Answer: Foreign citizens holding ordinary passports should ensure their passport validity covering their stay in China. Travel documents, temporary or emergency document holders do not apply to the visa-free entry policy.

Question 5: How to understand the 15-day stay period?

Answer: Foreign citizens applying to visa-free entry, upon their arrival in China, can stay 15 consecutive natural days, until the 24th hour of the 15th natural day, before leaving China.

Question 6: Can foreign citizens applying to visa-free entry policy, depart from countries other than the one(s) of citizenship(s)?

Answer: Foreign citizens eligible for visa-free entry to China can depart from any country (region) outside China.

Question 7: Does this visa-free entry policy apply to travel methods other than aviation?

Answer: The visa-free entry policy applies to all open sea, land, and air ports to foreign citizens (except where laws, regulations, or bilateral arrangements specify otherwise). If arriving in China by private transportation, relevant procedures for entry and exit of the vehicle should be processed in accordance with certain Chinese laws and regulations.

Question 8: Are tourist groups eligible for this visa-free entry policy?

Answer: Foreign citizens eligible for the visa-free entry policy, whether in group or as individuals, can apply to the visa-free entry policy.

Question 9: If the stay in China exceeds 15 days, can extension be made?

Answer: If a foreign citizen intends to stay in China for more than 15 days, they should apply for a visa meeting that purpose in advance at the Chinese embassies or consulates. If there are reasonable and justifiable reasons for longer stay than the 15 days after entering China using the visa-free entry policy, application for temporary stay permit should be submitted to the Chinese exit&entry administration of the public security departments before the 15-day stay permit expires

.Question 10: Are multiple entries allowedAre there requirements for duration of entry intervals? Are there limits on the number of visa-free entries or total days of stay limit?

Answer: Foreign citizens eligible for visa-free entry to China can enter for multiple times. Currently, there are no restrictions on the number of visa-free entries or total days of stay limit. It is of vital importance to keep in mind not to be engaged in activities inconsistent with your purpose of entry.
